Programs in chiropractic prepare students to make spinal adjustments and other related techniques that promote the general wellbeing of their patients. Available Chiropractic programs start from an Associate's Degree to a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree. Students specialize in a certain area of chiropractic, such as neurology or diagnostic imaging, at higher levels of education. Coursework includes studies in anatomy, physiology, chemistry, biochemistry, neurology, and human pathology. Some work in psychology and microbiology is also required, and use of X-rays and basic clinical skills is also required.
